Geomag has launched a new range of Magicube toys with stimulating shapes and colours to unleash hidden talent through magnetic fun at home.

During the last 12 months for most of adults ‘smart-working’ has become a new way of life.  But being “smart” at home is not a novelty for the Geomag toy brand. Smart-playing has always been at the heart of the Swiss-based brand. And they’ve been promoting learning by playing activity through ingenious magnetic toys since 1996.  It’s common sense that learning by playing is necessary for our children but making it fun can be challenging! Currently unable to play with friends and with screen time most likely to be dominating their daily lives, a variety of developmental skills and their ability to partake in exciting experiments is limited. But with parents spending more time at home too, the new Magicube Shapes magnetic construction toys are a powerful tool to develop those skills together.

“Ingenious range”

Magicube is a revolutionary building block system. Made up of magnetic cubes that attach to each other on all sides, it’s made entirely from 100% recycled plastics. What started out as the original Magicube system has now become a whole new world of magnetic building blocks with the new Magicube Shapes line.  This ingenious range features not only the traditional cube building block but three additional shapes; the quarter circle, half sphere, and half cube.  Importantly the new shapes are all fully compatible with all other cubes within the Magicube platform.

“Skills will flourish”

By incorporating new shapes, your child’s imagination and thinking skills will flourish. And this range enables them to invent animals, characters, structures and even vehicles. The Magicube toy system can now literally grow up with children from ages 1 to 6 years old. By playing with the individual cubes the youngest of children begin to develop their first manual skills, and as they grow older Magicube Shapes are a powerful add-on to allow them to build more complex constructions. Furthermore, as they approach the early years at school, they can improve their maths & reading skills with the Magicube education sets.

As always made from 100% recycled plastic, these Magicubes Shapes are available as a 6-piece starter set. There’s also a 9-piece animal-themed set; and a 13-piece set which also includes wheels and magnetic wheelbases. So junior builders can now go as far as building vehicles with real moving wheels. Finally, the bumper world of Magicube Shapes 32-piece shapes set completes the collection.

The Magicube Shapes collection can be found on sale at The Entertainer
