After the success of the inaugural and subsequent second Leeds Community Support Group Networking Forum, the White Rose Academies Trust has announced details of a third event, taking place on Wednesday 6th July 2022.

Interest in the forum, which was launched in November 2021, has been overwhelming, with the Lord Mayor of Leeds, Councillor Asghar Khan, and Tom Riordan, Chief Executive of Leeds City Council, both respectively speaking at the group’s first two events.

With over 120 individuals from different local businesses and charities already attending the events and the number still growing, the White Rose Academies Trust are excited to be hosting the third forum on Wednesday 6th July at Leeds City Academy, Bedford Field, Woodhouse Cliff, Leeds LS6 2LG, from 12.15pm until 3pm.

This event will be attended by both locally based businesses and charities. Vincent Hodder, CEO, Leeds Bradford Airport, is confirmed to attend the forum as special guest speaker, along with a business presentation from multinational professional service network, KPMG.

“Work together”

The event will also include six presentations from local charities, talking about their aims and needs.

The summer weather will (hopefully) afford the opportunity for an outdoor BBQ, with complimentary refreshments provided throughout the afternoon.

It is hoped that this networking forum will grow to include many more members who will be able to work together to ensure the community of Leeds can thrive and grow and that any families, charities or businesses who are requiring support in the future can receive this from the group. We believe that this group together can really make a difference.

If you would like to book a place at the event, please email Alice Ryan, Project Lead for the White Rose Academies Trust at Ryan.a@whiteroseacademies.org to confirm your place(s).
If you would like any further information about the group or would like to make any suggestions which you feel may enhance the group further, please do not hesitate to contact Yvonne Hare, Head of Marketing, Communications and Projects at the Trust on 07906 699942.
