Each season has its proper rights when it comes to home interior design. All around the world decorators and designers do their best to keep up with the latest trends and show the tendencies in interior design decoration that have a significant influence on beautifying living spaces.

We have already entered 2020 and the dominating trends are still being discovered. Nevertheless, the end of 2019 and the beginning of 2020 have already made their mark and revealed the latest tendencies, among which one seems to impact on all the others. And this is – comfortability and natural look.

Look inspired by nature as the most dominant trend

The trend of giving interior comfortable and inspired by nature look has been omnipresent for a few years now and its popularity is still on upward trend. Customers expect brightness and freshness in their brand-new apartments. They also fancy reign materials such as wood, a lot of vegetation and metals such as silver and gold.

What is more, a look inspired by nature also emphasises the need for cosiness which can be achieved by using textiles and ethnic details. Such decorations also allow to give apartments more personalised touches what is also highly appreciated by apartment buyers.

Green, pink in grey are ok

It is troublesome and rather unattainable to distinguish one single colour that will dominate in 2020. However, there are a few dominant ones that will be omnipresent in furniture, textiles, walls and interiors generally:

green – its dark and deep ranges will be especially present in furniture and upholstery of chairs,

pink – on all its shades from pastel pink, peach pink or old rose will provide the interiors with an elegant and delicate touch,

grey – being a neutral color with a wide range of combinations will be applied to paint interior walls, furniture decoration, carpets and textiles.

Indoor garden

The look inspired by nature is such influential that it made indoor gardens to be desired and quite common in brand-new apartments. They provide interiors with a space of tranquillity and relaxation for all household members. A lot of designers also add next to it a few armchairs and a sofa in order to allow apartment buyers to enjoy beauty and peace of their indoor garden.

In 2020 the interior design will be mostly influenced by the need of providing apartment buyers with natural look, cosiness, comfortability, brightness and tranquillity. These features are mostly appreciated by customers these days and both designers and decorators of houses do their best to meet the expectations.
