In our household, we pride ourselves on maintaining a clean and tidy space – it’s something we’re committed to. Yet, cleaning can sometimes feel like a never-ending task, right?
This is why we were excited to discover the Eufy E20 3-in-1 Robot Vacuum. A device that promised to revolutionise our approach to everyday cleaning. With a child and a pet… (and me!) anything that promises to simplify maintaining cleanliness while managing a busy household is a potential game-changer for us.

First Impressions
Unpacking the Eufy E20, I was taken aback by its substantial size . This wasn’t the compact little helper I had envisioned; it was something much more robust. But, like when you order a small pizza and the bring you a large…that “BONUS!” feeling hit.
But, would it fit? Would it be too bulky for our space?
Any concerns evaporated once we found the perfect spot for it in a corner of our home. It’s sleek, stylish, and doesn’t take over the room. It’s got a nice modern look to it, and a high-quality build. So as far as vacuum cleaners can, it fits in to the home really well.
With clear instructions, setting up the Eufy E20 was straightforward. And, within a short period, it was charged and ready for its first task. Whilst it charged, I downloaded the app, pairing it with the unit easily.
And then, I couldn’t wait to see just how much of a difference this robotic vacuum could make in our lives.
Performance
From the off, the Eufy E20 had me and the cat looking on in shock and awe (I was the one in awe, by the way!). But initially, its movements seemed haphazard—twisting, turning, stopping, and starting very randomly – without any apparent logic.
However, it soon became clear that the vacuum was actually mapping out the space. Identifying obstacles and learning the layout of the room. How clever! This initial exploration allowed it to create a map of the house in the app, which it then used to navigate more efficiently on subsequent cleans. This smart mapping feature allows the vacuum to tackle each room more smartly, adjusting its route each time it encounters an obstacle.
The accompanying app became an instant hit; it’s user-friendly and intuitive, providing real-time updates and controls at the touch of a button. The robot’s first task was to tackle the kitchen and living area, spaces that see a lot of foot traffic and, consequently, a lot of mess. The Eufy E20 navigated these areas with surprising agility, mapping out its path and adjusting its route each time it encountered an obstacle.
The Challenge
The vacuum’s suction power was put to the test with everything from cereal spills on the hard kitchen floor to pet hair embedded in the living room carpet. It handled these challenges well, its suction power and brush movement on different surfaces was great without any intervention from us. You can up the power if you need to though.
What delighted me further was its ability to return to its charging station independently, self-empty its dustbin, and then continue where it left off. Smart technology at its very best. Then, the extension tube and combination tool, which I used for removing crumbs down the sofa and debris in the car footwell lets the Eufy E20 excel here too. Proving that what was in my hands was an all-encompassing cleaning device.
Smart Features
As I touched on before, one of the most futuristic features of the Eufy E20 is its ability to create a virtual map of your home. This isn’t just for show—the vacuum uses this map to divide your home into zones, allowing for cleaning that can be activated on demand. If we only need the kitchen cleaned, a simple tap in the app sets the Eufy E20 on a focused mission to clean just that area.
This mapping feature also means that the vacuum remembers where to clean and where it has already cleaned, ensuring no spot is missed and no area receives unnecessary attention.
The Verdict
Well, what a product. The Eufy E20 3-in-1 Robot Vacuum has become an indispensable part of our household. It’s not just a tool; it’s a part of our daily routine, and we don’t have to lift a finger!
Its comprehensive cleaning capabilities, its user-friendly technology and a robust design, make it an excellent investment for any busy household. It saves us time, keeps our home clean, and does so with minimal input from us. Highly recommended for anyone looking to take the hassle out of household chores.
