Edifier W320TN – Review

By Steve Crabtree, February 2026
It’s no secret that since I was first introduced to the Edifier brand, I’ve become a bit of an addict. My house is practically awash with their audio stuff, and when I’m out and about, my go-to pair of earphones usually sports their logo too. Music is a huge part of my life, and for me, the way it sounds is everything.
I’ve been using the same reliable pair for a few years now, but I recently felt the itch to see what their newer kit could do. That curiosity led me to the Edifier W320TN, and after putting them through hours of listening pleasure, I think I’ve officially found my new favourites.

First impressions
When I pulled these out of the box, I was hit by the finish. Most of my Edifier gear has been matte in the past, so the glossy look here is a really nice change. They look and feel premium, with a sleek charging case that’s easy to slip into a pocket.
I’ve been on a bit of a comparison marathon lately, and the open-fit design is a winner for me. They slot straight into the ear without any of those silicone gummies you usually get with earphones. They’re useful, but can be a faff. The fit felt secure and comfortable from the off.
And, one thing I’ve always appreciated about Edifier is how they handle the tech side of things. Pairing was near-instant; as soon as I turned them on, they were ready to go. There’s nothing worse than battling with Bluetooth menus when you just want to get stuck into a playlist, so having that plug and play feel right out of the box is always a big plus.
But of course, the real test is how they actually perform once the music starts…
Deep bass and a clarity
To give these a proper first outing, I went for a bit of a classic: Hue and Cry’s ‘Violently’. It’s a gentle but powerful ballad from the 80s Scottish pop scene, and the vocals really need to hit home. The Edifier W320TN handled it beautifully. That signature Edifier richness was right there, sailing into my eardrums with deep bass and a clarity, bringing the quieter background notes right to the front.
I decided to ramp things up with some Bryan Adams, and the earphones didn’t skip a beat. ‘Can’t Stop This Thing We Started’ sounded fantastic—full-bodied and energetic.
I also really liked the new “pinch” controls on the stems. I’m used to tapping my earbuds, which often leads to accidental pauses if I’m just adjusting them, but these require a deliberate pinch to answer calls or skip tracks. It’s a small detail, but it makes a massive difference to the overall experience.
Another thing I like is that the W320TN can be connected to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously. Fast switching between devices, and that’s a big plus sometimes – especially at work.
What Edifier say:
“Featuring AI-powered adaptive noise cancellation, ultra-clear voice calls with triple-mic technology, and immersive Hi-Res Wireless audio with LDAC support. With a comfy open-fit design, smart pinch controls, and IP54-rated water and dust resistance, these earbuds are built for everyday comfort and performance. Whether they’re taking calls, hitting the gym, or just enjoying their favourite holiday playlist, the W320TN makes every moment sound better.”
The verdict
After living with them for a bit, I’m really impressed. I really like them. The Edifier W320TN manages to balance a high-end look with the kind of audio performance that makes your favourite tracks feel fresh again. They’re incredibly comfortable for long sessions, and the shift to pinch controls is a smart move that saves a lot of frustration.
Whether I’m working at the desk or heading out for a walk, these have become one of the first things I grab. If you want top-tier sound without the “plugged-in” feel of traditional earbuds, these are well worth the money.
The Edifier W320TN is available from edifier.com. RRP: £99.99
