The Yorkshire Post Business Awards 2026 Return to New Dock this November
On Wednesday, 11 November, the 21st edition of The Yorkshire Post Business Awards will celebrate some of the biggest, best, and most loved firms of the county. Taking place at New Dock in Leeds, it’ll run from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm, welcoming over 350 guests from the business community for food, drinks, and awards.
Businesses across Yorkshire have been submitting their nominations to the many accolades on offer, with even more categories added for 2026. So, what does it take to win one of these awards?
Showcasing Your Winning Story
The key to winning a business award, be it one from The Yorkshire Post or a national one, is to immerse the judges in your narrative. Your story is key and can cover just about any angle, from a business that was struggling to now on the rise to leveraging an innovation that enabled your staff to both be more efficient and happier.

On to The Yorkshire Post Business Awards 2026
This year’s awards ceremony promises to be the biggest yet. Nominations closed on Friday 18 September, giving the judges plenty of time to go through all of the entrants across the expanded awards slate. Last year, there were 18 awards up for grabs, but in 2026, five more will be going out to the best businesses in Yorkshire.
As is relayed by The Yorkshire Post, those new categories greatly widen the field and add more paths to recognition. Best Micro Business, Fast Growing Business of the Year, Exporter of the Year, Young Leader of the Year, and the Charitable Business Award will be hotly anticipated by those in attendance.
At the time of writing, tickets were available for the big night in November. Ticket prices ranged from £184.16 per head at a table of ten or 12, all the way up to the premium ten-person tables, which were charging £228.47 per head and featured a bottle of champagne or a bucket of beer.
After a rousing 20th edition, The Yorkshire Post Business Awards return this year with even more awards and what promises to be a well-earned night of celebration for the best firms in the county.
