A Q&A With RADA

Collaborative arts project – here’s Tracey from RADA Unearthed…

What’s the title of your release, and what does it mean to you?
‘Together We Are Stronger’ – This is a collaborative song involving all the artists featured on *RADA Unearthed Volume 3*. It’s a song intended to spread positivity and inspiration in the world. The song addresses daily personal and societal challenges, reminding us that by standing together, we can overcome anything. ‘Together We’re Stronger’ emphasizes that unity is our greatest strength, and love binds us together.

What was the hardest part about putting this release together, and why?
The most challenging thing is to coordinate diaries and get all the voices recorded in the studio. The music video, funny enough, was the easy part to arrange. We had booked a green screen studio, and things seemed to just fall into place. There are some surprise elements we are using in the video that slowed us down slightly, but all is now on track, and we’re excited to get the video finalized. It’s going to be stunning.

Who produced the release – what did they bring to it?
The song was written by Neil Engle and produced by Neil Engle and Mark Beling. They brought their genius. They are well-established artists from different genres. The executive producer also has a great ear for music and knows what he likes. The combination of these three talents, along with the artists featured on the track, resulted in an inspirational song that hopefully strikes a chord in people’s hearts.

What do you want the listener to take away from listening to your music?
Our goal is to inspire people to stand up for one another and to know that no matter how tough life gets, we’re stronger together. It’s more than just a song; it’s a movement. It’s about being brave enough to fight for positive change, showing kindness, and leading with love.

How does a track normally come together? Can you tell us something about the process?
The process of creating ‘Together We Are Stronger’ was a long journey, and the team had very high expectations of the kind of song we wanted. The message is clear and simple, but to articulate it in music can be a challenge. Three very good but different versions were written. Long hours and many discussions later, we were able to make the last version live up to how we wanted to inspire people. A lot of care went into making this song.

What band/artists have influenced you the most since you started this project, and why?
The influences for RADA Unearthed come from various artists and genres. Our main focus is on creating music that inspires positive change, so artists who convey powerful messages resonate most with us.

What countries would you like to tour? Are there any standout venues you’d like to play in?
As a group, it would be difficult to tour, as each of the artists has their own show schedules. The way to get this song out there is through the airwaves. We want the world to hear the song and, more importantly, the message in the song. Especially now, when the focus seems to be on all things very negative. War, politics, hate, and power are all everyone talks about. This song shares a message of solidarity and hope, urging everyone to “never give up, never let go” in their pursuit of positive change.

A Q&A With RADA

If you could pick one track for our readers to listen to in order to get a taste of your music, what would you pick, and why?
I would say ‘Undefeated’. This is on the RADA Unearthed Volume 2 album. Another collaboration song, it carries an immensely powerful message to humanity. It is probably the anthem song for RADA; we always blast it out over all our charity events. It should be played at top volume. I love it because it makes one take a step back and rise above one’s immediate situation to see the much bigger picture. We overcome darkness through light, and we can do this if ‘We Stand Together’ because ‘Together We Are Stronger’. You see what I did there…mentioned all three collab songs in my answer.

What ambitions do you have for the band/your career?
Our goals have always been to create music that carries messages of love, peace, and positive change. So, we will always be working on the next song and the next album. I don’t see that ever stopping. It’s all about inspiring people to care for others and help where possible. Small things can make an enormous difference to the lives of those who need assistance. Music is an amazing catalyst.

Finally, as you leave the stage, what are your parting words?
We hope the listeners love the song and that the message of unity, resilience, and collective strength inspires us all to do better for one another.
