The Paperboy is Back! Yorkshire Hills Race Returns on 14th of May

Cult Cycling label Paria and North Brewing Co’s 53.4 mile ride on 14th of May

Paria, the Yorkshire-based brand that creates cycling kit with a fashion edge, has collaborated with North Brewing Co on the sixth incarnation of the Paria Paperboy; a cycle ride that takes in the rolling hills of Yorkshire, along with coffee, street food… and finally some refreshing beers.

The Paperboy isn’t a race, it’s the ideal way to dust off your bikes and kick start the spring summer cycling season. The inclusive ride is designed for all abilities, and is the perfect opportunity to find some new riding buddies, or hook up with old ones.

Riders will meet at 9am on Saturday the 14th of May, at the North Brewing Co, Springwell Buslingthorpe Lane, Leeds, LS7 2DF, before setting out at 9.30am.

“A ride for everyone”

The day will start with coffees provided by Leeds’ finest Laynes Espresso, followed by a challenging 53.4 ride through the hills of North Yorkshire, with pit stops at North Bar Harrogate and North Bar Social along the way.

Back at Springwell, the organisers will be pouring Victory Pints of North X Paria IPA for each rider and continuing the fun. Burgers and bao will be available from Little Bao Boy and Kerbside Kids.

Places cost £30, which includes a Paria Musette (for the uninitiated, that’s an over-body bag used for cycling), Paria X North Brewing Co IPA, and a selection of other goodies. What’s not to love?

Sam Morgan, the founder of Paria and co-organiser of Paperboy, said, “It’s that time of year again! What I love about Paperboy is that it’s a ride for everyone. It’s not a race, it’s an opportunity for lovers of cycling, coffee, beer, food, and (of course) Yorkshire, to come together, meet new friends and catch up with old ones. Come as a group, come by yourself, either way I promise you will have fun. And if you do feel like racing, then that’s totally fine too – just save us some food and beer at the end!”
