Channel 5 has revealed more top names will be joining the line-up of its first ever outdoor ‘5 on the Farm Festival,’ taking place this August Bank Holiday.

Ben Fogle, presenter of hit Channel 5 series New Lives in the Wild, is confirmed for the three-day festival taking place at Barnsley’s Cannon Hall Farm, which is set to be one of the biggest celebrations of rural and outdoors life to ever come to South Yorkshire!

Ben will be joined by top UK dog trainer Graeme Hall of Dogs Behaving Very Badly. And leading TV farming expert, Adam Henson is on the bill too.

Visitors can step into the world of Channel 5’s best loved shows and enjoy a fantastic variety of activities at the festival, including panels and Q&As, floristry, pottery, woodwork, arts and crafts, cooking, yoga, bee keeping, baking and countryside skills workshops and demonstrations, and see their favourite stars perform throughout the weekend – all included in the ticket price.

“Perfect British day out”

In exciting news for younger visitors, Channel 5 has also revealed that Milkshake! favourites Peppa Pig, Chase and Marshall from PAW Patrol, Milkshake! Monkey, Blue’s Clues and Milkshake! Presenters Kemi, Derek and Jen will also be attending and meeting fans in the Milkshake! Meadow at the festival. Expect live performances, arts & crafts and forest school activities.

The August Bank Holiday festival is the perfect British day out. With an estimated 10,000 countryside fans expected to attend each day, it’s a dog-friendly, weekend staycation for all ages.

Other talent already confirmed for the event includes Helen Skelton, JB Gill and Jules Hudson of This Week on the Farm. They’re set to host across the weekend.

Also appearing is Our Yorkshire Farm’s Amanda Owen. There are also stars of Our Yorkshire Vet, Julian Norton and Peter Wright. Cannon Hall Farm’s very own famous farmers Dave and Rob Nicholson appear too.

Ticket holders will also be able to take a trip to the on-site country pub. Here they can purchase a range of local and home-made food and drinks; and enjoy some shopping at the Village Green Food Festival.
