New photos of the UK’s most amazing locations have been revealed as part of a national photography competition. The Best of Britain campaign, which saw the UK’s leading photo print specialists, CEWE, survey 2,000 people and launch a national photography competition, shines a spotlight on some of the most amazing holiday destinations the UK has to offer.

The images, which showcase the nation’s most stunning locations, demonstrate the rising popularity of Brit’s opting to holiday in the UK rather than abroad. The Best of Britain campaign also found that this year Brit’s have opted to holiday more in the UK than abroad, with 73% stating they’d taken their annual vacation at home.

“Spoilt for choice”

Clare Moreton, Digital Marketing Director at CEWE, commented: “We already know from the beautiful products our customers have made that the UK is bursting with amazing staycation locations, so it’s fantastic to see the trend of holidaying at home seems to be here to stay.

“The UK is spoilt for choice when it comes to beauty spots, and this really comes across with our research, from the stunning Lochs of Scotland, to the Cornwall coast and further afield, there’s so much choice and beautiful scenery that the UK has to offer. We’re looking forward to seeing plenty of staycation inspired photo books! ”

The CEWE research forms part of a free photographic travel guide the company has compiled for those wanting to explore the diversity that Britain has to offer. Those looking to holiday at home can access a range of travel guides on the CEWE website, complete with the best spots to take stunning photos, the most delicious eateries the UK has to offer and hints and tips on what to do and where to stay.
