GRACEY joins Jessie Ware for Live at the Piece Hall, Halifax

by Steve Crabtree

GRACEY – one of the most talked about young UK artists – is heading to Yorkshire this weekend. And she’ll be kicking off Live At The Piece Hall 2022 with pop queen Jessie Ware.

This summer’s sensational live music line-up at the historic Halifax venue begins on Sunday when two-time BRIT Award nominee Jessie brings her What’s Your Pleasure Tour to The Piece Hall’s iconic open-air courtyard.

GRACEY has been a platinum-selling songwriter since the age of just 16. And she’s written for stars such as Rita Ora, Olly Murs and Kylie.

Since her 2019 arrival in music as an artist in her own right, she has been spinning her knack for earworm melody and lyrics that cut deep into certified bangers. She’s racked up more than 140 million streams and a UK Top 10 hit. She also received a BRIT Award nomination in the process.

“Top 10 smash”

A wild, rare feat for a new artist; even more so because all of these benchmark moments were achieved in a year when a pandemic brought most of music to a screeching halt. GRACEY’s 2020 breakthrough collaboration with 220 Kid ‘Don’t Need Love’ was a UK Top 10 smash.

Throughout two EPs and a string of 2021 singles, she explored the pain of heartbreak (Imposter Syndrome) and been liberated from love’s sore shackles (The Art of Closure). For her third, monumental project (Fragile) she returned to the sadness and anguish of a lost relationship.

Jessie Ware heads to Halifax fresh from her appearance at the Isle of White Festival. Sunday’s Live At The Piece Hall headline slot will give Yorkshire audiences chance to see her critically acclaimed 2022 live show which has already wowed critics – labelling it as “A sparkling new era for Jessie Ware” (Daily Telegraph)

What’s Your Pleasure is Jessie’s highest charting release to date. And it’s also one which reinforced her reputation as one of the UK’s strongest vocalists.

Since breaking through in 2012, Jessie has released four acclaimed studio albums. Devotion (2012), Tough Love(2014), Glasshouse (2017) and What’s Your Pleasure (2020). And they’ve all charted in the UK Top 10.

Jessie, who has been nominated for several BRIT Awards, has released a string of hit singles and pop anthems including Meet Me In The Middle, Running, Alone, If You’re Never Gonna Move, Say You Love Me, Wildest Moments and Kiss Of Life – her brilliant 2021 collaboration with Kylie.

Organisers are delighted to announce GRACEY as Jessie Ware’s very special guest. And she’ll open the show on the night. Final tickets are available via
