Autumn Dining at Fourth Floor Brasserie and Bar, Harvey Nichols, Leeds
By Steve Crabtree / @stevecrab
Autumn is bringing a delicious new seasonal Prix Fixe menu to the Fourth Floor Brasserie and Bar at Harvey Nichols. And you can take three mouth-watering courses and an aperitif fizz on for £25.
Using the finest seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients, the new menu created by Head Chef Lee Heptinstall, presents seasonality at its very best.
To start, enjoy spiced pumpkin velouté with kohlrabi, smoked plaice, toasted pumpkin seeds, and pumpkin oil. Or try the tasty ham hock tart topped with piccalilli relish. To follow, there’s the warming braised ox cheek served with mashed potato, chard and bourguignon sauce. Or a flavoursome wild mushroom fettuccine with roasted Jerusalem artichokes, rocket and parmesan.
But it doesn’t finish there. It’s impossible to resist dessert with offerings of rich dark chocolate and olive oil tart served with spiced poached pear and vanilla mascarpone or the ever-popular sticky toffee pudding topped with lashings of salted caramel sauce, candied pecans and vanilla ice cream.
Harvey Nichols new Autumn Prix Fixe menu is available at the Fourth Floor Brasserie Monday to Thursday from 12pm – 5pm. On Friday and Saturday, it’s open from 12pm – 8pm, with fizz and three courses for £25 per person.
