Embrace Gear Up for Big 2018 With Album and Live Dates

Now 20 years into their recording career, Embrace are making an epic and emphatic return in 2018 with their seventh studio album. With three Number One albums, six Top 10 singles, sold out arena shows and over two million album sales behind them, the band returned triumphantly three years ago with their Top 5 self-titled LP.

It seems that the lads are back to ‘classic’ Embrace, and the new album Love Is A Basic Need was recorded in the first half of 2017 at their own Magnetic North Studio and produced by the band’s Richard McNamara.

“Trademark sound”

With tracks such as the emotive string-laden ballad ‘All That Remains’, the commanding ‘Never’ and anthem rousing ‘Wake Up Call’, the album has Embrace getting back to what they know with the trademark sound that first made them so popular first time around.

Following their recent stadium support dates with Coldplay, and establishing and performing at their own award-winning Secret Festival, Embrace have now announced a full UK tour for March and April this year.

Embrace play Leeds O2 Academy, 7 April. For full tour details visit: embrace.co.uk
