Britrock Must Be Destroyed Tour Preview

Reef, Terrorvision, The Wildhearts and Dodgy Announce Joint UK Live Dates

by Victoria Holdsworth

This is a tour of the undisputed, heavyweight champions of a musical era!

Four giant UK anthemic rock/indie bands all on one bill, coming together for the upcoming TeamRock.com-sponsored ‘Britrock Must Be Destroyed’ UK tour.

The nationwide tour will be heading to Leeds O2 Academy on 24th May 2018. This will be one of the only eight dates you’ll be able to catch Yorkshire’s very own Terrorvision, The Wildhearts, Reef, and the recent line-up addition of power indie popsters, Dodgy, all playing together in the same venue.

“Full set from every band”

This is going to be a legendary event, and not for the faint-hearted. All the bands on the bill have such huge fan bases, not to mention vast back catalogues to pick from, which will entertain any crowd.

Taking it in turns to swap the running order for each gig, the rotating line up will see Dodgy opening up in Leeds, with over 8 top 20 albums and 35 top 40 singles between them. What’s even more outstanding is that there will be a full set from every single band.

Any self-respecting music lover will know the 90’s scene well – indie was in full swing, the dance music scene was spilling out all over the place, but somehow the ever remaining staple that is rock n roll still flexed it muscles.

“Rising to the challenge”

With all these bands still at the top of their games, there is nothing left to prove on this tour – except maybe who is the most popular?

Ginger Wildheart says: “We are honoured to be a part of this legendary tour. Mainly because it means that we’re still alive, but also because it gives us a chance to prove that we were always the best band of this whole bunch.”

Sounds like the gauntlet has been thrown! Who will be rising to the challenge? Whose corner will you be in when the bell goes? You will just have to come along and find out for yourself.

There are some tickets still available, and where else can you get four gigs for one price? britrock.seetickets.com
