Trad instruments with a rock lean from unique Yorkshire four-piece…

YOUR NAME: Anna Mosley
BAND NAME: Broken Flowers (Anna Mosley, Darren Gibbs, Mike Brown & AJ Grant)
WHAT DO YOU DO/PLAY?: Acoustic roots influenced rock
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN TOGETHER AS A BAND?: 2.5 years

GIVE US 3 REASONS WHY WE SHOULD TRACK DOWN, LISTEN AND DISCOVER YOUR MUSIC?
1. We are passionate about what we do and, without giant egos, believe we are actually quite good.
2. We are local and play venues throughout Yorkshire but rehearse and play in Leeds and Wakefield regularly.
3. We play a genre of music that isn’t common in the UK, blending traditional instruments with a rock sound… there aren’t UK bands to compare and we think that’s a good thing.

“We love a good rowdy pub gig”

WHERE DO YOU SOUND BEST – FESTIVAL, CLUB, BEDROOM – OR SOMEWHERE ELSE?
Medium stage, opening for bigger bands. We do a professional job and so have secured quite a few support slots. We get to play to a wider audience and showcase what we do. And we do love a good rowdy pub gig though!
