Yorkshire Landmarks in Pictures – A Gallery by Dave Zdanowicz
Yorkshire offers some of the most diverse and rich landscapes, seasides and cityscapes in the British Isles. Limestone interlaces with sweeping and rolling fells, and dramatic peaks rise from its plains.
Bradford-born photographer Dave Zdanowicz has captured its essence from the coast to the Dales in a collection of stunning images. From the majesty of Whitby Abbey and splendour of Bolton Abbey to the fascinating history of the peaks, this book has it covered. For the county’s proud inhabitants and many thousands of visitors this book is a must. This unique collection of photographs immediately shows why Yorkshire is one of Britain’s best loved destinations.
“Moment in time”
Dave says: “It is a great honour to release a follow-up to my first book Yorkshire in Photographs. The images in this book have been selected from my collection over the last year. In the course of taking these photographs I have explored moors and hills, reservoirs and lakes, beaches and cliffs, towns, villages and cities and each picture represents a unique moment in time, captured at a particular time of the year. It has been a pleasure revisiting some of my favourite destinations around Yorkshire as well as discovering new places for the first time. Whatever the weather, whatever the time of year, Yorkshire is truly beautiful.”
