Disco-house party duo from Australia…

What’s the title of your latest release, and what does it mean to you?
‘We Are One’, which is all about coming together in the club, feeling united and liberated by the music. We are super excited to be releasing our first debut single.

What was the hardest part about putting this release together, and why?
The writing was enjoyable but clearing the sample was a bit harder.

What do enjoy most about producing your own material?
It’s awesome that we can do that as it’s such a creative outlet for us.

What do you want the listener to take away from listening to your music?
A sense of fun and enlightenment. We hope when they listen they can be taken away from their daily grind.

How does a track normally come together? Can you tell us something about the process?
We listen to a lot of disco songs from the 70s, find a hook and then I produce the musical bed. When I’ve finished the instrumental Cassie will take it and write a topline. Then Cassie either sings the vocals or we may get a guest vocalist in.

What band/artists have influenced you the most since you started this project, and why?
So many from Jackson 5, Boney M, Donna Summer to Armand Van Helden Also crazy one off disco and 80s hits

What countries would you like to tour? Are there any standout venues you’d like to play in?
We’d love to play at any venues that love disco house music. We hear great things about Glitterbox Ibiza.

If you could pick one track for our readers to listen to in order to get a taste of your music, what would you pick, and why?
Ooh that’s a super hard question, maybe ‘Lady’ by Modjo.

What ambitions do you have for the band/your career?
Mainly to keep writing and releasing great disco house songs, and to perform them at festivals (at some point in the future).

Finally, as you leave the stage, what are your parting words?
Thanks for the energy.
