WESTROW HAIRDRESSING’S MATTHEW SUTCLIFFE SHORTLISTED IN PRESTIGIOUS INDUSTRY AWARDS

Earlier this month, a panel of the most influential icons from the worlds of hair, fashion and media met to uncover hairdressing’s hottest talents aged 30 and under.

Demanding his place in the spotlight by making it through to the final of Creative HEAD’s It List – the unique awards event for hairdressers aged 30 or under – Matthew Sutcliffe of Westrow in Leeds is now well on his way to industry acclaim!

Shortlisted for THE IT GUY award, Matthew will now be heading to London for the glittering It List Grand Final, taking place at the Royal Courts of Justice on Monday 3 September. With a celebrity host at the helm, this year’s winners will be announced in front of an audience packed with VIPs including hairdressing’s most stylish crowd of influential industry icons, fashion luminaries and media darlings.

In exclusive partnership with hair superstar ghd, Creative HEAD’s It List celebrates the most dynamic young ground-breakers, go-getters, trend-setters and fearless fashionistas in hairdressing. Judged by a prestigious panel of experts including top session stylist Claire Rothstein, and session stylist and co-owner of Percy & Reed, Adam Reed, THE IT GUY title celebrates a male star in the making – a white-hot name excelling in all aspects of his career and demonstrating unparalleled passion and skill. From rising through the salon ranks to being in high demand backstage at Fashion Weeks all over the world, THE IT GUY victor will prove he is destined for industry greatness. THE IT GUY is one of five It List categories that will be awarded at The It List Grand Final. Each winner will take home a stylish It List trophy, a bespoke prize courtesy of ghd, and exclusive editorial coverage in Creative HEAD magazine and online.
