Kirkstall Deli Market Offers Top Yorkshire Produce

Kirkstall Deli Market, held within the cloister of the famous 12th century ruins, has now grown to 40 stalls in just a year.

The market runs on the last Saturday of each month from 12pm – 3pm, with ther aim of providing visitors with an opportunity to buy good quality food, plants and local produce from northern producers and suppliers.

A wide and varied selection of produce is available, from speciality meats like rare breed pig, water buffalo, venison and organic beef to award winning bistro foods, cheeses and preserves. You can also sit and enjoy the wide selection of foods cooked on site from hog roast, buffalo and venison burgers, to curries, wraps and delicatessen foods.

Visitors can also enjoy a great selection of wines and cordials, as well as some speciality desserts that you just can’t find outside of Yorkshire. The add of entertainment from singers, musicians, bands and magicians ensures a day out the whole family can enjoy.

The market dates for 2012 are 30th June, 28th July, 25th August, 29th September, 27th Cctober and 24th November.
